Welcome to the Mowlog closed beta

Mowlog is currently in a closed beta. That means access is invite-only while we harden the core experience (mower logbook, firmware history, blade changes, lawn tracking, model insights) and gather structured feedback from real robotic mower owners.

This article explains how access works, what to expect, and the rules everyone in the beta agrees to.

How to get access

  1. Request access by signing in at mowlog.com with Google, Apple, or email.

  2. If your email is on the allowlist, you'll land in the app immediately.

  3. If it isn't, you'll see a "beta access required" message. You can submit your email through the feedback widget (bottom-right) and we'll review new requests in batches.

We prioritize invites based on:

  • Mower brand and model coverage we still need data for

  • Willingness to file structured feedback (bugs, ideas, model corrections)

  • Geographic spread (firmware versions vary by region)

What works today

  • Personal logbook: mowings, blade changes, firmware updates, issues

  • Multiple mowers and lawns per account

  • Public model pages with anonymized, aggregated community data

  • Insights across your fleet

  • Google and Apple sign-in

  • Feedback, roadmap, and changelog (this Featurebase workspace)

What is intentionally limited

  • No public sharing of personal logs. Your entries stay private. Only anonymized aggregates feed model pages, and only above a k-anonymity threshold.

  • No team or multi-user accounts yet. One account, one owner.

  • No native mobile app. The web app is mobile-optimized, but there is no iOS or Android build.

  • No data export UI yet. If you need your raw data, contact us and we'll send it.

  • No SLA. Expect occasional downtime, schema changes, and feature reshuffles. We'll communicate breaking changes in the changelog.

Beta rules

By using the closed beta, you agree to:

  1. Keep invites to yourself. Don't share your login or forward invite links. If a friend wants in, point them at the request flow.

  2. File feedback through Featurebase, not via email or DMs. That keeps everything searchable and votable. Use:

    • Bug for something broken

    • Feature request for something missing

    • Model data correction for wrong specs on a model page

  3. Don't scrape or automate. The public model pages are for humans. Aggressive automated access will get the account suspended.

  4. Respect anonymized data. Don't attempt to re-identify other users from model aggregates.

  5. Expect change. Features can move, rename, or disappear during beta. We'll try to warn you, but breaking changes are part of the deal.

Privacy and data handling

  • Your logbook entries, photos, and mower metadata are private to your account.

  • Aggregated, anonymized stats power public model pages only above a minimum sample size.

Leaving the beta

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. This removes your personal data; anonymized contributions to model aggregates remain (they cannot be linked back to you).

  • Account issues: reply on any feedback post and tag it as "Account".
